आत्मानं मानुषं मन्ये रामं दशरथात्मजम्

Maybe, Even the Divine soul when it enters human body, gets prejudiced through the filters created by the mundane body made of mud and earth..
Perhaps this may explain the situations where we see Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and so on cry in anguish, show temper, succumb to fear and other emotions, just like other human beings..
.
Alternately, it may be that, like expert teachers who prepare simulations and models as aids for teaching the students, the divine beings were just enacting a sort of drama.. to demonstrate how life should be lived,
and Sage Valmiki documented it as he saw it..
These are the possible explanations..
In Krishna Avataram, the Lord Said.. , avajaananthi maam moodaah maanusheem thnumaasritham, अवजानन्ति मां मूढाः मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम्
avajānanti māṁ mūḍhāḥ mānuṣīṁ tanumāśritam “they are fools who consider Me as a mortal and superimpose on Me the common failings of men.”
But in Ramayanam, Rama and others never attempt to wear the mantle of divines.. " Just understand that I am a man Rama, the Son of Dasaratha..aatmaanam maanusham manye raamam dasarathaatmajam.
.आत्मानं मानुषं मन्ये रामं
दशरथात्मजम् --वाल्मीकिरामायणे युद्ध काण्डे १२०-११ "
is what Rama declared..
We can hope to understand and interpret the issue in this light, I feel
