പ്രാഞ്ചം ഗുണം മുഞ്ചതി നോ പലാണ്ഡഃ
you prepare the base for planting it with finely powdered camphor, and add manure of only musk (kasthuri) and you irrigate it with water collected of pure dew and rose essence, and plant and nurture an onion tuber this way.... but when harvested, you will get the increased crop of onion with the same old odour...the onion cannot abandon its inherent nature.
If one plants onion and change the system of soil, manure and irrigation, but the product onion will be of the same old quality with the same pungent stink. One cannot change one's nature which are in the genes.This reminds one of the ol Tenali
Rama story where the wise joker tried to change the colour of a black dog by soaking the animal for long periods in water, treating its skin with lime and rubbing its body rough with the sharpened edge of a broken coconut shell...In the end the dog barked and whined a lot and perhaps shed some blood but the dog remained black in colour anyway.
Just watch the politicians, film stars and people who flaunt glamour.
if you try to approach their core, the old hypocrites in them will show their real faces from under the surface skin.
This analogy can be elaborated in so many ways....it is for the learned to think and expand on it.

മണ്ണിനു പകരം കര്‍പൂരത്തിന്റെ പൊടി മാത്രം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തടം കെട്ടിയശേഷം വളമായി കസ്തൂരി ചേര്‍ത്ത് പോഷണം നല്‍കി മഞ്ഞുതുള്ളികളില്‍ നിന്ന് നേരിട്ട് ശേഖരിച്ച വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടു മാത്രം നനച്ചു കൊടുത്തതെങ്കിലും ഉള്ളിയാണ് പാകിയിട്ടുല്ലതെങ്കില്‍ വളര്‍ന്നു വിളയുന്നതും ഉള്ളി തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കും. ഉള്ളിയുടെമാനവ സ്വതഃ സിദ്ധമായ മണവും ഗുണവും ഇതുകൊണ്ടൊന്നും മാറുകയില്ല
ഓരോ വസ്തുവിനും അതിന്റെതായ ചില അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായ സ്വഭാവങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ട്.. അത് മാറ്റിയെടുക്കാന്‍ സാധ്യമല്ല.
പട്ടിയുടെ വാലിന്റെ വളവ് ഇതിനു ഉരു ഉദാഹരണമാണ്.
