In defense of a candle..

The duty,

the function, 

the dharma 

of a candle is just to burn.. 

and shed light.. 

light as bright as it can produce 

shed more light 

and 

shed light till it evaporates all its wax..

and vanishes totally

The function does not alter 

whether the wax is thick or thin,

whether the the candle is long or short .

whether most of its body is burnt out or has melted out..

Of course, it may not possible for the candle to keep its wick safe from the torrents and gusts of wind.. 

But if a body is left even after the flame is off , it can be burnt again.. and it will shed light once again..

That is all..
