This blog will contain an assorted mixture of whatever that pours out of my mind and finds expression in words.. I love the beauty of words, I love my friends and above all I love the dark pearl of Dwaraka, the one and only Krishna

This is a prayer we sang in our primary class half a century ago
I really do not remember if this is the full song, or who is the author.
But it comes back to mind with lot of sweet memories in the sunset days of life.
The prayer is addressed to the Universal God, the infinite being, not of any religion or any creed..
There is something specially Keralite in it
jeevithachakra vidhaayaka naayaka sarvacharaachara deva namaste
hrudaye viriyum pooja kusumam taavaka paade choriyaam dinavuu
taaraka soona vimohana haaram sooraja chandra vichestita kesham
kanniyil vayalil vilayum kathiril kutikolvoo nin punchiriyennum
I offer my prayers to the supreme being who is leading me by steering the wheel of my life in the proper direction..
who is the master of all that is moving or unmoving, animate or inanimate.
I offer the showers of fresh flowers blooming in my heart as offering at your feet.
Your are the uneversal being appearing in supreme glory wearing the garland made of stars as flowers
Your locks are adorned by the Sun and the moon
And
I see your sweet smile in the ears of paddy that fill our fields during the month of Kanni ( the month in kerala the last two fortnights in September and the first two fortnights in October of the English Calendar)
Yes, the last line is very special for every person born in Kerala
God smiles at us heartily through the paddy filling our fields during Kanni masam..
(The poem is just extracted from my memory.
May be it is from some great poet of Malayalam.. I really do not know..
But My whole being gets moves to great ecstacy reading that)
