the most loved persons for all

 

स्पृहणीयाः कस्य न ते सुमतेः सरलाशयाः महात्मानः।

त्रयमपि येषां सदृशं हृदयं वचनं तथाऽऽचारः॥

spṛhaṇīyāḥ kasya na te sumateḥ saralāśayāḥ mahātmānaḥ|

trayamapi yeṣāṁ sadṛśaṁ hṛdayaṁ vacanaṁ tathā''cāraḥ||

Which great soul who is very simple and straightforward does not become the most loved persons for all good people around? Such great persons have all the three.

1 their heart or mind,

2 words
 and

3 behaviour
 working similarly in the right direction.

 

 സ്പൃഹണീയാഃ കസ്യ ന തേ സുമതേഃ സരളാശയാഃ മഹാത്മാനഃ।

ത്രയമപി യേഷാം സദൃശം ഹൃദയം വചനം തഥാഽഽചാരഃ॥

 എളിമയും സത്യസന്ധതയും കൈമുതലാക്കിയ മഹാത്മാക്കളെ നല്ലവരായ എല്ലാവരും സ്നേഹിക്കും. അത്തരം മഹത്തുക്കളുടെ മനസ്സും, വാക്കും പ്രവൃത്തിയും ഒന്നുപോലെ  നന്മയുടെ വഴിയിൽ മാത്രം  സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
