श्रीकृष्ण विष्णो मधुकैटभारे भक्तानुकंपिन् भगवन् मुरारे।

त्रायस्व मां केशव लोकनाथ गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति॥

त्वामेव याचे मम देहि जिह्वे समागते दण्डधरे कृतान्ते।

वक्तव्यमेवं मधुरं सुभक्त्या गोविन्द दामोदर माधवेति॥

ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ വിഷ്ണോ മധുകൈടഭാരേ ഭക്താനുകമ്പിന് ഭഗവന് മുരാരേ।

ത്രായസ്വ മാം കേശവ ലോകനാഥ ഗോവിന്ദ ദാമോദര മാധവേതി॥

ത്വാമേവ യാചേ മമ ദേഹി ജിഹ്വേ സമാഗതേ ദണ്ഡധരേ കൃതാന്തേ।

വക്തവ്യമേവം മധുരം സുഭക്ത്യാ ഗോവിന്ദ ദാമോദര മാധവേതി॥

śrīkṛṣṇa viṣṇo madhukaiṭabhāre bhaktānukaṁpin bhagavan murāre|

trāyasva māṁ keśava lokanātha govinda dāmodara mādhaveti||

tvāmeva yāce mama dehi jihve samāgate daṇḍadhare kṛtānte|

vaktavyamevaṁ madhuraṁ subhaktyā govinda dāmodara mādhaveti||

Oh Krishna, the attractive black one,

Oh Vishnu, who is present everywhere in and out,

You the slayer of the demons Madhu and Kaitabha,

you, who is ever merciful to the devotees,

you Bhagavan the perfect one having all the powers and graces,

you the enemy of demon Mura,

you Keshava who has attractive black hairs,

you, who would protect all living beings at any cost,

you the master of the universe and my own master too,

make me call your names ever..

and protect me from all woes

Oh my tongue, this is my ultimate demand and entreaty to you, when Yama the God of death approaches with a huge stick on hand ready to strike and finish me to death,

please muster enough strength for me and for yourself too,

to chant with sweet devotion,
