then alone our lives have any meaning.

In the previous stanzas  Bhattathiri described the beauty of Guruvayurappan and this stanza is composed to explain what that concentrated beauty does to the existence of that Black Urchin's faithful followers.
"Such beauty of yours, my Guruvayurappa, is the eternal source for fresh life-giving ambrosia for us.  It is the elixir prepared with its sole ingredient consisting of the Supreme Soul, you the Parabhrahman.  That beautiful form forces our hearts to miss its beats, when we hear it being praised.  It prompts us to jump in supplication to you, it makes our minds intoxicated with devotion to you, it forces our hairs to stand erect in extreme ecstasy.  And that beautiful form, when seen by our eyes makes them eternal sources of rivers of sweet tears oozing out of our insatiable love for you."

We can see that the poet is in ecstasy beyond words, language and syntax, while composing these slokas in praise of Guruvayurappan.. We need not go for the language or meaning here.. If a very tiny speck of affection in comparison to the solidified love that Bhattathiri had for that Sorcerer with Flute, crosses our mind for a split second, then alone our lives have any meaning.
