दानान्न दुष्करं तात पृथिव्यां अस्ति किञ्चन

 

दानान्न दुष्करं तात पृथिव्यां अस्ति किञ्चन। अर्थे च महती तृष्णा स च दुःखेन लभ्यते॥ ब्रह्मधर्म

dānānna duṣkaraṁ tāta pṛthivyāṁ asti kiñcana| arthe ca mahatī tṛṣṇā sa ca duḥkhena labhyate|| brahmadharma

Dear one, there is nothing in life that is more tough to do than voluntarily part with money or giving gift. Every one is attached too much to his money and he remembers the suffering he had to undergo in earning such money.
