practice makes it perfect

ഗോമൂത്രമാത്രേന പയോ വിനഷ്ടം തക്രസ്യ ഗോമൂത്രശതെന കിം വാ

Even if a tiny drop of cow's urine is mixed with thousand litres of milk, the entire milk will be spoilt. But even if thousand litres of cow's urine is added to any quantity of buttermilk, nothing happens.  Similarly the noble persons would consider that all their accumulated virtues are lost if they happen to commit even some petty mistake. But for the persons who are doing evil things alone from the time of their birth  any additional evil deed would mean nothing.

In mahabharatham, during the war,, Yudhistira is persuaded to make an untruthful  statement regarding the death of ashwatthama and from that time onwards it is said that his chariot which always floated one feet above the ground level by virute of his dharma, landed on the earth for ever.  But we see liers and utter lier for whom telling a truth is a rare exception. Nothing  happens to them.
