Even the greatest philosopher should have sought the assistance of a dentist if he had a bad tooth and all his thoughts on absolute purity of thoughts would have helped him very little to relieve the pain .
Dry rhetoric just for the consumption of gullible audience could attract temporaray attention and even claps and accolades.
However they would be of little or no use in any practical way.
Some saints were different..
For example Ramakrishna and Vivekananda were down-to-earth in their treatment of worldy woes..
So were Lord Krishna the jagadguuru and such greats..
The idol of God is made of stone..
A rubble of stone on the street is also of the same material..
However we cannot throw the stone in the street at the idol just saying that we are hurling God at God so that the two could unite.
