कान्तारवनदुर्गेषु कृच्छ्रास्वापत्सु सम्भ्रमे ।
उद्यतेषु च शस्त्रेषु नास्ति धर्मवतां भयम् ॥२२॥
[५.३९.५३]सारसमुच्चये, महाभारते
kāntāravanadurgeṣu kṛcchrāsvāpatsu sambhrame ।
udyateṣu ca śastreṣu nāsti dharmavatāṃ bhayam ॥22॥

Even if a person is stuck in the depth of dense forest, an area very difficult to negotiate and come out, even if he is in deep physical or mental pain or strain, even if he is confronted by serious dangers, even when he is placed in a situation where he has every reason to be agitated, even on the occasion when he has set out to complete an arduos task, even when he has to face assault from potent weapions, no fear would arise to him if he is following the path of righteousness or dharma .
A person who has adopted Dharma or righteousness as his way of life will be protected by Dharma for every.. He has no reson to entertain any fear.

കൊടും കാട്ടില് അകപ്പെട്ടു വഴിയറിയാന് പാടുപെടുന്ന സ്ഥിതി വന്നു ചേര്ന്നാലും, ശാരീരികമായോ മാനസികമായോ ഉള്ള വിഷമങ്ങളും വേദനകളും നേരിടുമ്പോള് ആണെങ്കിലും, കാര്യമായ അപകടങ്ങള് മുഖാമുഖം എത്തി നില്ക്കുമ്പോള് ആണെങ്കിലും, മാനസികമായും ശാരീരികമായും സംഭ്രമവും ആകാംക്ഷകളും മനസ്സില് ഉയരാന് എല്ലാ കാരണങ്ങളും ഉള്ള അവസരങ്ങളില് പോലും , പുതിയ, വെല്ലുവിളികള് നിറഞ്ഞ സംരംഭങ്ങള് ചെയ്തു തീര്ക്കാന് ഇറങ്ങി പുറപ്പെടുന്ന അവസരങ്ങളിലും , മാരകങ്ങളായ ആയുധങ്ങളെ നേരിടുമ്പോള് പോലും, ധര്മ്മത്തിന്റെ പാതയില് ജീവിതം നയിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് ഒരു ഭയവും ഉണ്ടാവില്ല.
ധര്മ്മം ജീവിതചര്യ ആക്കിയ ആളെ ധര്മ്മം രക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്ളും. അയാള്ക്ക് ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട കാര്യം ഒട്ടും ഇല്ല.
