Bhakthi and the conduct of the Bhaktha
There were very cruel persons who exhibited immense bhakthi
Ravana is an example.
Bhakthi can be just demand too. Many do penance and many make offerings to the deity in exchange of specific favours.
However bhakthi can be just love for god care for god too.
It is a great idea to be convinced that bhakthi will be effective only if the path is just, right, kind and affectionate.
If you feel so you are gifted.
But that is sattwik bhakthi
There can be rajasic bhakthi which is just giving something and extracting favours from God and there us tamasic bhakthi where we use crude techniques to achieve things.
The spectrum of bhakthi is very huge and widespread.
One can choose the mode that would appeal to him or suit his tastes
