Money holds the key..
माता निन्दति नाभिन्नदति पिता भ्राता न संभाषते।
भृत्यः कुप्यति नानुगच्छति सुतः कान्ता च नऽलिङ्गते।
अर्थप्रार्थनशङ्कया न कुरुते संभाषणं वै सुहृद्
तस्मात् द्रव्यमुपार्जयस्व सुमते द्रव्येण सर्वे वशाः॥
mātā nindati nābhinnadati pitā bhrātā na saṁbhāṣate|
bhṛtyaḥ kupyati nānugacchati sutaḥ kāntā ca na'liṅgate|
arthaprārthanaśaṅkayā na kurute saṁbhāṣaṇaṁ vai suhṛd
tasmāt dravyamupārjayasva sumate dravyeṇa sarve vaśāḥ||

Even the mother insults the son who is not having any money
The father never would encourage or support him
The brother would not care even to talk to him
The servant would show anger to him
The son would never keep his company
The wife would never go near him or even touch him
The so called friends would not try to converse with him because they would be afraid that this fellow would ask for loans or financial assistance
Therefore, dear friend, try to earn as much money as you can
After all everything else in this world revolved around money..
Maybe some people will think that this is a hyperbole..
But a person, a community, a state.. or any entity without adequate resources faces embarrassment and insult.. That is a truth which cannot be denied.
മാതാ നിന്ദതി നാഭിനന്ദതി പിതാ
ഭ്രാതാ ന സംഭാഷതേ.
ഭൃത്യഃ കുപ്യതി നാനുഗച്ഛതി സുതഃ
കാന്താ ച നഽലിംഗതേ.
അര്‍ത്ഥപ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനശങ്കയാ ന കുരുതേ
സംഭാഷണം വൈ സുഹൃദ്‌
തസ്മാത്‌ ദ്രവ്യമുപാര്‍ജയസ്വ സുമതേ
ദ്രവ്യേണ സര്‍വേ വശാഃ..
പണം ഇല്ലാത്തവനെ സ്വന്തം അമ്മ പോലും അപമാനിക്കും.
അച്ഛന്‍ ഒരിക്കലും പുകഴ്ത്തില്ല.
സഹോദരന്‍ ഒരു നല്ല വാക്കു പൊലും മിണ്ടില്ല. വേലക്കാരന്‍ പൊലും കയര്‍ക്കും.
മകന്‍ ഒരിക്കലും കൂടെ വരില്ല.
ഭാര്യ സ്നേഹത്തൊടെ പുണരില്ല.
ഉറ്റ ചങ്ങാതികള്‍ എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചവര്‍ വായ്പ ചോദിക്കുമോ എന്നു പേടിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കാന്‍ വരികയില്ല.
അതു കൊണ്ടു
സുഹൃത്തേ നല്ലവണ്ണം പണം സമ്പാദിക്കുക. എല്ലാവരും പണത്തിന്‍റെ കൂടെ മാത്രമാണ്‌.
