आनन्द गोविन्द मुकुन्द राम नारायणानन्त निरामयेति।

वक्तुं समर्थोऽपि न वक्ति कश्चिदहो जनानाम् व्यसनानि मोक्षे॥

कुलशेखर मुकुन्दमाला॥

ānanda govinda mukunda rāma nārāyaṇānata nirāmayeti|

vaktuṁ samartho'pi na vakti kaścidaho janānām vyasanāni mokṣe||

aananda.. you the embodiment of supreme happiness

Govinda.. you the protector of cows, cowherds,

Mukunda—you giver of ultimate liberation

Raama.. you the most attractive one,

Narayana.. you the ultimate Lord who floats in water

Anantha.. you the eternal one,

Niraamaya.. you the one whom no maladies or sorrows can ever approach.

Oh Lord, all these names of Yours are easily available for all in this world to utter freely. However no one ever mumbles any of these names. These names, when recited, are capable of giving liberation to all. Maybe people are reluctant or even sad to attain Moksham. What to do..?

Krishna.. your lotus feet are all that I want

नास्था धर्मे न वसुनिचये नैव कामोपभोगे
यद्भाव्यं तद्भवतु भगवन् पूर्वकर्मानुरूपम्।
एतद् प्रार्थ्यं मम बहु मतं जन्मजन्मान्तरेऽपि
त्वत्पादांभोरुहयुगगता निश्चला भक्तिरस्तु॥७
कुलशेखरप्रणीते मुकुन्दमालायाम्॥
nāsthā dharme na vasunicaye naiva kāmopabhoge
yadbhāvyaṁ tadbhavatu bhagavan pūrvakarmānurūpam|
etad prārthyaṁ mama bahu mataṁ janmajanmāntare'pi

Though Kulasekhara was the Chera king of Kerala, his heart was always stuck on the Ranganatha..
Nothing else mattered to him.

Oh Mukunda, Krishna, I have no great inclination in following the strict paths of administration and dharma..
I have no desire to accumulate wealth..
I am least interested in enjoying the rich materialistic pleasure available in plenty all around me.
I am not even bothered about sufferings that would arise as a result of my karmas ..
Oh the all powerful lord, may everything happen to me according to the Karmas I have accumulated over many lives.
I have only one entreaty, one humble request to make before you.
This is the prayer I make after thinking over many many times..
May I be blessed , with unwavering devotion unto those attractive pair of feet of yours which shine like twin lotuses ..May that pointed devotion be with me in all the lives I am to take as a result of my Karmas..

Here the love and devotion for Krishna has become the sole object and aim for this great devotee.. Normally a devotee would ask for mitigation of his hardships.. and for achieving worldly or even spiritual wealth and enjoyment..

My tongue you praise keshava, that divine being with attractive hair, the lord who killed the demon Kesi

My pair of ears, you feel happy to listen to the beautiful stories of that lord Achyuta,, the one who can never have any fall from his exalted position and the one whose dependents can never have any fall.

My pair of eyes, you see that Krishna, the black fellow who attracts everything towards Him

My pair of feet you walk briskly in the direction of the temple where that Hari resides.. the Hari.. the Lion, the Hari who destroys all sins of the devotess.

My nostrils, you two find ecstacy in enjoying the fragrance of the Tulasi leaves that have adorned the lotus beet of Mukunda. Mukunda the liberator of the devotees from all sins, Mukunda the one who is valuable as a precious gem.

My head you fall at the feet of Adhokshaja.. the one whose knowledge and prowess are beyond limits of our thoughts..

this is a stanza from Sreekrishna karnamnritham of 

Leelashuka..Bilvamangalaswamy.. It is is prayer to 

Krishna. But it is also a primary lesson in declensions 

of singular nouns in the eight forms from prathama to 

saptami and smabodhana prathama.
