असम्यगुपयुक्तं हि ज्ञानं सुकुशलैरपि ।
उपलभ्यं चाविदितं विदितं चाननुष्ठितम् ।।
- विदुरनीतिः
asamyagupayuktaṃ hi jñānaṃ sukuśalairapi ।
upalabhyaṃ cāviditaṃ viditaṃ cānanuṣṭhitam ।।
- viduranītiḥ
Even those who are masters or great experts in some strain of knowledge fail to put to use such knowledge and expertise adequately.
Moreover, most people are pathetically unaware of the wealth of knowledge that is at their disposal, that too without any restriction.
Added to this they never act positively and decisively either to acquire such knowledge or to apply such knowledge optimally even when they are well aware of the wealth of resources placed at their easy disposal.
