दुर्जनं सज्जनं कर्तुं उपायो न हि भूतले।
अपानं शतथा धौतं न श्रेष्टं इन्द्रियं भवेत्॥
durjanaṁ sajjanaṁ kartuṁ upāyo na hi bhūtale|
apānaṁ śatathā dhautaṁ na śreṣṭaṁ indriyaṁ bhavet||
It would appear that there is no conceivable method or trick on the surface of this earth that could ever turn an evil minded fellow in a sensible and decent gentleman
See, even if one’s anus is washed a hundred times, that will not turn into a noble organ of the body..
