किं ब्रूमः शशिनो भाग्यं

किं ब्रूमः शशिनो भाग्यं हरस्य शिरसि स्थितिः।

अभाग्यमपि किं ब्रूमः तत्र स्थित्वाप्यपूर्ण्णता॥

kiṁ brūmaḥ śaśino bhāgyaṁ harasya śirasi sthitiḥ|

abhāgyamapi kiṁ brūmaḥ tatra sthitvāpayapūrnatā||

It is indeed fortune beyond all description that the moon has attained the status of occupying the matted hair of Lord Shiva Himself..

No one can describe that fortune adequately.

At the same time, even after attaining such exalted status, the moon is merely in a thin crescent state, an incomplete state and would never grow.

No one can adequately guess the reason for such incompleteness too

Yes the package of life is very strange.. It is a mixed bag of merits and demerits..

Just accept what destiny deems it right to give you. No other way.

കിം ബ്രൂമഃ ശശിനോ ഭാഗ്യം ഹരസ്യ ശിരസി സ്ഥിതിഃ।

അഭാഗ്യമപി കിം ബ്രൂമഃ തത്ര സ്ഥിത്വാപ്യപൂര്‍ണ്ണതാ॥

ഭഗവാന്‍ ശങ്കരന്‍റെ ജടാമാകുടത്തില്‍ ഇടം പിടിക്കാനും അവിടെ എന്നും താമസിക്കാനും അവസരം ലഭിച്ച ചന്ദ്രന്‍റെ ഭാഗ്യം വാക്കുകള്‍ക്ക് അതീതമാണ്. ആള്‍ക്കും ആ ഭാഗ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ശരിക്കും വര്‍ണ്ണിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയില്ല.

അതേസമയം ഭഗവാന്‍റെ ശിരസ്സില്‍ അന്തസ്സോടെ തിളങ്ങുമ്പോഴും ചന്ദ്രന്‍ ഒരു മെലിഞ്ഞ കലയായി മാത്രം അവശേഷിക്കുന്നു. അത് ഒരിക്കലും വളര്‍ന്ന് പൂര്‍ണ്ണതയില്‍ എത്തുന്നില്ല.

ഈ വളര്‍ച്ചയില്ലായ്മയുടെ, മുരടിപ്പിന്‍റെ, കാരണം ഊഹിച്ചെടുക്കാന്‍ പോലും ആര്‍ക്കും സാധ്യമല്ല.

അതെ ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയുടെയും ജീവിതവും ഉയര്‍ച്ചകളുടെയും കോട്ടങ്ങളുടെയും ഇടകലര്‍ന്ന ഒരു ഭാണ്ഡം മാത്രമാണ്.

ഭഗവാന്‍ കല്പിച്ച് തരുന്നതെല്ലാം സ്വീകരിക്കുക. അത് മാത്രമാണ് നമുക്ക് ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയുക
