"Guruvaayurappa, the devotion and affection for you evokes the most sublime experiences in the mind of people who follow the path of devotion or Bhakthi. It is for this reason that the path of devotion expounded by the greats like Vyasa, Narada and other great yogins is  extolled as far superior to the path of action (Karmayoga) and path of knowledge (jnana yoga) which are also two other paths availble to reach you.  You the sweet Lord of Lakshmi,  the only rasa (or sublime quality) that is present in you is beauty at its peak and your devotees have no difficulty ever in reaching you and be in union with you through that devotion"
The Blessed Lord has dealt with in Gita about the three yogas, bhakthi, jnana and karma... for an impartial observer it would be apparent that Krishna has given all the three choices equal importance in their efficacy to lead us to Him.  But Karma and Jnaana are difficult exercises and maybe even difficult to understand and practice for the layman who is not properly educated or initiated.  But Bhakthi is emotional... the very sight of the resplendent form of the Black gem does wonders to the existence of the devotees..and like a magnet attracting a piece of iron, forcibly draws ones heart to the flautist of Brindaban and make him remain for ever in absolute devotion.  May be, like a flower eager to attract the bees that  Naughty Boy showcases all the beauty and benevolence in his enthusiasm to ensure that there is no difficulty for the devotees to find the path to Him.
May the black beauty of that formless one  attract us also.

People indulge in underlining the benefits of parsing the Lord through various stotras.  But it would appear that by chanting Narayaneeyam we will get only one thing..

 We will get Krishna..
One need read this only if he is satisfied with that.
