Respectability or absence of it are too subjective

Respectability or absence of it are too subjective .
No one can define that in absolute terms. What is respectable for one person may not be same for another.
So sitting on assumed high moral pedestal and passing judgments is just an action.bordering on arrogance.
We tend to define as right and respectable what we think or assume as a majority group as respectable.
That is not simply fair.
Even assumed knowledge standards and performance standards become coloured, prejudiced or opinionated that way.
If a situation can arise where things get evaluated on the basis of what is said rather than who said it.. then alone there is at least a semblance of equity and fairness.
Normally people are driven either by ego or hero worship.
But all need not be like that.
Note ven Jesus or Krishna or Gandhi can ever define what is respectable.
Each one is entitled to his own views.
But when anyone tries to flaunt his view as the right..and only right.. unfairness raises its ugly head
