Howefer we might act at least on a few words.

All religions stress on repetition of the scriptures or mantras or spells for this reason alone.

If we read thousand instructions from Buddha and follow at least two of them. Still we are in a position of advantage...

The Blessed Lord in Gita said Swalpamapyasya Dharmasya Thraayate mahato Bhayaat..स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात् even following a very little of Dharma can save us from great catastrophe

But the Master that is Budha knew it.. he knew that if he spoke a thousand times, people might act on it once or twice..

Therefore  He is making a categorical demand that we should repeat mantras many times ...
