यथा भूमिः तथा तोयं, यथा बीजं तथाङ्कुरः

The availability and quality of water in a terrain would depend on the location and the composition of the soil in that area

The quality of a plant sprouting would entirely depend on the quality of the seed sown

The peculiarities of the language, usages and etymology, would depend on the locality and social environs

The quality, prosperity and well being of the subjects of a kingdom would entirely depend on the king, his capacity, attitude and administration.

We should be lucky to have good administrators especially at cruch situations.

യഥാ ഭൂമിഃ തഥാ തോയം, യഥാ ബീജം തഥാങ്കുരഃ ।

യഥാ ദേശഃ തഥാ ഭാഷാ, യഥാ രാജാ തഥാ പ്രജാ ॥

ഒരു ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തെ ജലത്തിന്റെ ലഭ്യതയും അതിന്റെ ഗുണവും ആ പ്രദേശം ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായി എവിടെ കിടക്കുന്നു എന്നതിനും പിന്നെ അവിടത്തെ മണ്ണിന്റെ ഘടനയ്ക്ക് അനുസൃതമായും ആയിരിക്കും

മുളച്ചുവരുന്ന ഒരു ചെടിയുടെ ആരോഗ്യം വിതച്ച വിത്ത് എങ്ങിനെയോ അങ്ങിനെത്തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കും

ഒരു പ്രദേശത്തിലെ ഭാഷയും, ഉച്ചാരണ ശൈലിയും, വാകുകളുടെ പ്രയോഗവും എല്ലാം ആ പ്രധേഷത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രവും സാമൂഹ്യ ഘടനയും അനുസരിച്ചായിരിക്കും

പിന്നെ ഒരു ജനതയുടെ ക്ഷേമവും സുരക്ഷിതത്ത്വവും വളര്‍ച്ചയും എല്ലാം അവരെ ഭരിക്കുന്ന രാജാവിന്റെ കഴിവും, പ്രതിബദ്ധതയും അനുസരിച്ച് മാത്രം ആയിരിക്കും

വെല്ലുവിളികള്‍ നേരിടാനും നമ്മെ നയിക്കുവാനും കഴിവുള്ള ഭരണാധികാരികള്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് നമ്മുടെ ഭാഗ്യമാണ്.
