दुर्जनस्य विशिष्टत्त्वं परोपद्रवकारणम्।
उपोषितस्य व्याघ्रस्य पारणं पशुमारणम्॥
समयोचितपद्यमालिकायाम्।
durjanasya viśiṣṭattvaṁ paropadravakāraṇam|
upoṣitasya vyāghrasya pāraṇaṁ paśumāraṇam||
samayocitapadyamālikāyām|
Even the most praised and apparently pious actions of the evil fellows would result in trouble for others who are meek and helpless
If a tiger observes a day of fast even as a pious act, such fasting will end up with paaranam.. the ending of the fast which would mean killing of many meek animals like the deer or wild cattle..
In fact, the tiger would get hungrier by the fast and would kill more animals of prey..
We see that phenomenon in great abundance in our society. Some leaders who pose as pious and generous but are actually selfish to the core instigate people to create strife in the society citing causes which are apparently for public benefit.. However, many such agitatations fetch only death and martyrdom to the poor follower.
ദുര്‍ജ്ജനസ്യ വിശിഷ്ടത്ത്വം പരോപദ്രവകാരണം।
ഉപോഷിതസ്യ വ്യാഘ്രസ്യ പാരണം പശുമാരണം॥
സമയോചിതപദ്യമാലികായാം।
ഒരു ദുഷ്ടന്‍ അയാളുടെ മഹത്ത്വം വിളിച്ചറിയിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി പുണ്യകര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന് തോന്നുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കില്‍പ്പോലും അതിന്റെ ഫലം സാധുക്കളായ മറ്റുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപദ്രവവും നാശവും സംഭവിക്കുക എന്നത് മാത്രമായിരിക്കും
ഒരു കടുവ കുളിച്ചു കുറിയിട്ട് ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിലും വ്രതം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പാരണസദ്യക്ക് കൊല്ലപ്പെടുന്നത് കൂടുതല്‍ മൃഗങ്ങളായിരിക്കില്ലേ ?
യഥാര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍ വ്രതത്തിനു വേണ്ടി പട്ടിണി കിടക്കുന്ന കടുവയ്ക്ക് വിശപ്പ് കൂടുതലാവും. അപ്പോള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ മൃഗങ്ങള്‍ രക്തസാക്ഷികള്‍ ആവും
സഹജീവികളോട് സ്നേഹവും സമൂഹത്തോട് അര്‍പ്പണബോധവും ഇല്ലാത്ത സ്വാര്‍ഥത മാത്രം കൈമുതലായിട്ടുള്ള നേതാക്കള്‍ ചമയുന്ന ചിലര്‍ പാവം ജനങ്ങളെ പോതുനന്മക്കുവേണ്ടി എന്ന് വരുത്തിതീരത്ത് കലാപങ്ങളിലും മറ്റും വലിച്ചിഴച്ചു കൊലക്ക് കൊടുക്കുന്നത് നാം എന്നും കാണുന്നതല്ലേ ?
