Tear need not be any sort of entreaty or call-attention notice to God.. When the human being gets close to something sublime--and what else can be more sublime than the idea of God?--, the emotions make him soft and a feeling of close identity with the subject of affectionate contemplation arises and this becomes a source of tears.. involuntary tears.. and it is at this stage that we feel the utmost closeness to God or maker.. it is a question of human emotion.. God may or may not be having emotions..and whether God has preferences or not is not known to anyone either way.. Who can say God has time or no time?.. no man is appointed as a time-keeper for God.. Man ultimately is a creature of emotions and not a bundle of flesh, a pitcher of blood or a structure of bones.. Tears signify love, respect, longing for identification with the object of ultimate affection..Tears are a show of closeness and empathy for normal human beings.. and most of my friends are normal, I feel..
