You are talking about the source of knowledge which is infinite and imperishable. But the receiver of knowledge tries to receive that with no effort at all and also tries to show off and impress others with whatever he has. Most of the time he exaggerates consciously or innocently. The supreme being has no limitations but the showy human should know his limits.
Of course no individual is indispensable on this world although the silly mind will tell each individual that the sun may rise in the West if this fellow did not give proper directions.

Ahamkaram can mean the unity of or realization that the vital force inside the living being just the same as the supreme being..ayam aatmaa Brahma tat team asi aham brahma asmi.
