कन्दर्पदर्पदलने विरलाः मनुष्याः

मत्तेभकुम्भदलने भुवि सन्ति शूराः

केचित्प्रचण्डमृगराजवधेऽपि दक्षाः।

किम्तु ब्रवीमि बलिनां पुर्तः प्रसह्य

कन्दर्पदर्पदलने विरलाः मनुष्याः॥४६६२

Agreed, there are men of immense valour on the face of earth who can shatter the forehead of rowdy elephants in rut and subjugate them

There are powerful men who are capable of slaying ferocious lions in the jungle who are about to charge at them with murderous intent

But without much ado or exaggerations it can be declared that indeed rare are human beings who could resist and subjugate the forays of the Lord of Love Kamadeva and maintain dignity and self control.
