मनसापि स्वजात्यानं योऽनिष्टानि प्रचित्तयेत्

मनसापि स्वजात्यानं योऽनिष्टानि प्रचित्तयेत्।

भवन्ति तस्य तान्येव इह लोके परत्र च॥४६८९

manasāpi svajātyānaṁ yo'niṣṭāni pracittayet|

bhavanti tasya tānyeva iha loke paratra ca||4689

If a person thinks of in the remote corner of his mind or intends to perpetrate harm to his own people, or if he tries to indulge in actions which are not for the welfare of his own kindred spirits, his own thoughts and actions would recoil on him and would act to his detriment in this life and in the life after death too.
