You know king Pareekshit lived in a closed fortified residence surrounded by ocean in order to prevent the entry of the venomous snake Takshaka who was under command of a curse of a sage to bite and kill the king.
Fate thought otherwise. The snake hid himself as a a worm in a fruit that was brought to the king for his food. The snake wriggled himself out of the tiny fruit, assumed his real form and bit Pareekshit to death.
