My spontaneous reaction when I listened to a nice but simple speech..

it is a beautiful speech..

we were not conscious of the language, ideas or content or the art of presentation of the idea,

but what the speaker expressed somehow just seeped into us..

That is communication at its best..

The speaker did not say anything which an average listener did not know already..

But still it stirred a string of happiness and empathy.. without any special effort..

That is great.

Even the best writers and talkers often get carried away by the way they present the idea and often the listeners get frenzied momentarily..

But often at the end of the speech the speaker and the listeners would be at a loss to know what exactly they spoke or heard..

What I listened to was an envy of a speech for anyone..

NB I know I cannot ever present anything in a simple and straightforward manner..
