मित्रद्रोही बुधैः पापः कृतघ्नश्च नराधमः।

क्रव्यादैः कृमिभिश्चैव न भुज्यन्ते हि तादृशाः॥

महाभारते शान्तिपर्वे १७२-२६

mitradrohī budhaiḥ pāpaḥ kṛtaghnaśca narādhamaḥ|

kravyādaiḥ kṛmibhiścaiva na bhujyante hi tādṛśāḥ||

mahābhārate śāntiparve 172-26

Meaning

A human being who intends evil for his own friend,

A human being who does sin to wise men by hurting them physically or insulting them

A lowliest fellow who is not grateful towards benefits received and just forgets all the favours received

Is considered to be the worst among humans..

When he is dead, even the cadaverous wild animals and worms would not eat his body,.. because the man was so bad when he was alive and even his dead body would carry venom..

मित्रद्रोही one who does evil to his friends

बुधैः पापः one who commits sin against wise men

नराधमः कृतघ्नः च the lowliest human being who forgets and is ungrateful of any help done to him

तादृशाः क्रव्यादैः कृमिभिःच एव न भुज्यन्ते such a person (when he is dead ) will not be eaten even by cadaverous wild animals or even by worms..
