दारिद्र्यनाशनं दानं शीलं दुर्गति नाशनम्।
अज्ञाननाशिनी प्रज्ञा भावना भयनाशिनी॥
चाणक्यनीति
ddaridryanāśanaṁ dānaṁ śīlaṁ durgati nāśanam|
ajñānanāśinī prajñā bhāvanā bhayanāśinī||
cāṇakyanīti
Giving generous gifts would remove the poverty of the donor and the acceptor. Good character would remove misfortunes. Ignorance would be dispelled by right knowledge and enlightenment and right understanding will remove all fears.
