The religion and metaphysics connected to it are not based on mathematical formulae.
Even in quatum..particle physics we come across the uncertainty principle.
If that is so even with physics what about metaphysics?
The theories of pre determined fate and conditional fate are just two concepts which rely heavily on probability.
Where is the confusion?
We find that the life happens on no fixed model..
And the uncertainty is writ large everywhere ..
The thinkers and philosophers just try to interpret life in the best way they can. Contradictions are natural.
And each one is free to adopt his philosophy and reject the divergent views. They can choose to tolerate too
We tend to enter into conflicts by presuming that what is written as spiritual philosophy should be accepted as gospel truth without any validation .
