the face of truth behind the golden facade

हिरण्मयेन पात्रेण सत्यस्यापिहितंमुखं
तत्त्त्वे पूषन् अपावृणु सत्यधर्माय द्रृष्टये

hiranmayena paatren satyasyaapihitam mukham
tattwam pooshan apaavrunu satyadharmaays dhrustaye

ഹിരണ്മയേന പാത്രേണ സത്യസ്യാപിഹിതംമുഖം
തത്ത്വം പുഷന് അപാവൃണു സത്യധര്മായ ദ്രൃഷ്്ടയേ

the shining golden orb of the sun covers or conceals the face of the real truth behind the orb, so oh lord pushan, the sun, remove that orb and reveal to me the eternal truth that is yourself as I am absolutedly devoted to you the truth.

I am amazed at the wisdom of the Upanishads. A sloka without compare. Our children who have gone  through study in Kendriya vidyalay would have heard about this.

Another meaning of contemporary relevance in this mundane world (may be unthought of by the masters....the real truth  is often concealed by the orb of gold, that is money power, only if the influence of gold, the influence of physical wealth is removed, we will be able to have an inkling of real truth, which is neither golden nor silver but only absolute without any distortion

my  dear  friends  i am for once steppping into the realms of the loftiest thoughts of our bharathabhoomi  and I fully know thaat the bashyakaras and oriental and occidental scholars has stopped with baffled mind before these gems.  who am I to interpret ?  my humble apologies to my elite friends...i have only stated what my limited mind could grass...the path of sankara, ramanjua, madhwa, or radhakrishnan is not my forte. once again apologies.
