while the fire is engaged in the mega project of burning down wild forests, the air keeps him hearty company as the best friend.
But when the same fire tries to keep alive a wick lamp the air haughtily destroys it by putting out the lamp by show of great force.
The world is like this.
No one wants the friendship of a person when he has become weak.
വനാനി ദഹതോ വഹ്നേഃ സഖാ ഭവതി മാരുതഃ
സ ഏവദീപനാശായ കൃശേ കസ്യാസ്തി സൌഹൃദം
കാടു ചുട്ടെരിക്കുന്ന വമ്പനായ തീയ് സംഹാരതാണ്ഡവം ആടുമ്പോള്‍ കാറ്റും ആ ദഹനപ്രക്രിയയില്‍ സഹായിയായി നില്‍ക്കുന്നു
പക്ഷെ ഒരു കൊച്ചു വിളക്കില്‍ ശാന്തമായി കത്തുന്ന ദീപശിഖയെക്കണ്ടാല്‍ അതിനെ ഊക്കോടെ ഊതിക്കെടുതാനാണ് അതേ കാറ്റിനു താല്പര്യം.
ഒരാള്‍ ശക്തിയേറിയ പദവിയില്‍ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ കുറെ ചങ്ങാതിമാര്‍ ഉണ്ടാവും. പക്ഷെ ആ പദവി ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ആ മനുഷ്യനെ ആര്‍ക്കും വേണ്ട
ശക്തി ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടു ആര് കൂട്ടുകൂടും?
