so near-- so far off

दूरस्थोपि न दूरस्थः यो यस्यमनसिस्थितः।

यो यस्य हृदये नाऽस्ति समीपस्थोपि दूरतः॥

॥चाणक्याद्॥

dūrasthopi na dūrasthaḥ yo yasyamanasisthitaḥ|

yo yasya hṛdaye nā'sti samīpasthopi dūrataḥ||

|āṇakyād||

Even if a person is residing in a faraway place, if he is close to our heart, he is not away from us..

And 

If a person is not having a place in our heart, he is very distant from us even if he is staying near us physically..

மிகவும் தொலைவின் வாழ்பவன் கூட நம் மனதுக்கு பிடித்தவன் ஆக இருந்தால் நம்முடனே இன்ருக்கிறான்

நம் இதயதில் இடம் இல்லாதவர்கள் பக்கத்தில் வசித்தாலும் அவர் ரொம்ப தூரத்தில் தான் இருக்கிறார்கள்..
