The difficulties suffered by one person often gives a lot of benefits to another.. Life is full of such situations..
The above subhashitsam from Nityaneeti just tries to highlight that
=======
The ear suffers the traumatic pain when it is pierces, it suffers pain from the heaviness of the eardrops which are secured to it.
However, the eardrops add lustre to the chin..
The suffering of one is the source of happiness for another..
==============
Kunchan Nambyar in his Thullal katha ( script for the unique dance and narration performance devised by the great poet himself) in his Syamanthakam Thullal says
-----------
തട്ടും കൊട്ടും ചെണ്ടയ്ക്കെത്ര
കിട്ടും പണമത് മാരാന്മാര്ക്കും (സ്യമന്തകം)
thattum kottum chendakketra
kittum panamathu maaraanmaarkkum
The beating and hitting are received by the drums..
But the money for the performance is received appropriated by the Marars.. the professional drum artists..
-----------
This inequity covers the entire gamut of human activities..
The class wars, the philosophies like socialism, communism etc arose as attempts at mitigating the impact of such inequality... But that inequality is very real..
Regards, Have a nice day
