पञ्च पश्वनृते हन्ति दश हन्ति गवानृते शतमश्वानृते हन्ति सहस्रं पुरुषानृते॥ इन्दिश्चे स्प्रुचे १६६५ मनुस्मृत्यां ८-९८ पञ्चतन्त्रे
pañca paśvanṛte hanti daśa hanti gavānṛte śatamaśvānṛte hanti sahasraṁ puruṣānṛte|| indiśce spruce 1665 manusmṛtyāṁ 8-98 pañcatantre
If a person gives false evidence regarding theft or misappropriation in respect of petty animals, he faces sin of destroying five human beings,, Such testimony in respect of cows and horses would incur sin equivalent to killing ten and hundred humans respectively. And a false testimony involving human being would attract sin of destroying thousand humans.
