A friend asked me how I am choosing some portions from Indian lore ..and writing about them.
I really do not know how.
But I can confess as to why I am doing it.
The difficulty will be in choosing from a huge chunk of materials.
Our culture is having at least ten thousand years of well documented history.
And we have more than sufficient materials to read and experience.
Added to this is the exposure to the greatest of languages ..Sanskrit..
the motherly language Tamil
and the sisterly language Malayalam ..
Also the touch of elegance provided by English..The English that open up the entire world to us..
Eternal love for all these languages..
What more is required for one to enjoy life in the wonderland of romance, spirituality, truth and aesthetics too?
If one does not fall in love with India and her beauty and elegance then his life is not worth living.
