Life is there to live.. and a real life is one that is reasonably happy

Life is there to live.. and a real life is one that is reasonably happy.. or at least without major miseries..

We plan, we advise, we comment, we criticize, we try to guide others, we try to introspect and muse over things that are past.. we tend to be nostalgic.. All these are there..

But we are not having quality time with ourselves when we do planning and introspection etc.. A moment well lived is that where we are happy even without knowing that we are happy.. That is real life.

We cannot get such moments in plenty.. such moments of ecstasy and glory appear too rarely..

But life gains meaning only through such flashes .

I have hear some management pundits say that an efficient worker spends ninety percent of his time in sharpening his tools and resources, and only part of the remaining time is spent on execution of his project..

But there is a risk..

If the sharpened resources and tooled get no occasion to be worked upon, the entire project is laid waste

True, many things are not in our control.. Not at all..

But small moments, small thoughts, small actions, which sum up as a continuum to constitute what we call life, are fairly in our control.

We can afford to regulate such thoughts and actions, to the best of our capacity..

If we take care of split seconds, and individual steps, the journey would take care of itself..
