मुहूर्तं ज्वलितं श्रेयो

मुहूर्तं ज्वलितं श्रेयो न तु धूमायितं चिरम् । महाभारते

muhūrtaṃ jvalitaṃ śreyo na tu dhūmāyitaṃ ciram । mahābhārate

To burn brilliantly for a few moments spreading the intense glow and glory all around is at any time superior to slow burning, spreading smoke and pollution ever.
