Two types of old men are there.
Vayovriddhaas and jnaanavriddhaas.
Old by age..like most of us
and elderly through knowledge.
.like Shukabrahmam..Markandeya..Sanatkumaaraas..Lord Jesus..Swami Vivekananda and so on.
Most of us, me eminently included have grown old only in body .
.And desire expressed by someone to become sixty to claim senior citizen benefits looks rather funny to me.
Ramakrishna paramahamsa compares the desire of some to acquire magical siddhis to people eating food just to have substantial excreta or stools..
Coveting the age of sixty to get senior citizens rights and privileges is just like that.
