pramanas and similar postulates are all based on some things which are not proved in any manner.. As a practising Hindu and a brahmin I may subscribe to those to be in sync fellow Hindus or Brahmins.. But I am sure I have a rational side within me .. I am not ready to accept anything which is proved by the usual tests of logic..I have read a lot of Shastras and studies about a lot of rituals.. And, maybe there are some points of deep faith inside me.. But I want to be reasonable to myself first as a human being.. My views are settled on that basis..
