Swadharma basically involves ones traditions and usages as per ones birth and family ties and relation. This is a preliminary definite need. There is hardly any dispute on that. But beyond that while functioning under that umbrella there can be varying priorities. The dilemma rests here only.
It is the dharma of a mother to protect the interest of her young children irrespective of the consideration whether she is best in parenting. I can cite a lot of situations but I do no not venture because a hybrid secular false culture has been developed by Hindus in general and people don different garbs and pose as if they are the best suited for the work mainly because of such garb. Frankly in my view such garb often is just garbage.
