रामो येन विडम्बितोऽपि विधिना चान्ये परे का कथा

जातः सूर्यकुले पिता दशरथो क्षोणिभृतामग्रणी

सीता सत्यपरायणा प्रणयिनी यस्यानुजो लक्ष्मणः।

दोर्दण्डेन न चास्ति भुवने प्रत्यक्षविष्णुः स्वयं

रामो येन विडम्बितोऽपि विधिना चान्ये परे का कथा॥

हलायुध धर्मविवेके

jātaḥ sūryakule putā dasgaratho kṣoṇibhṛtāmagraṇī

sīta satyaparāyaṇā praṇayinī yasyānujo lakṣmaṇaḥ|

dordaṇḍena na cāsti bhuvane pratyakṣaviṣṇuḥ svayaṁ

rāmo yena viḍambito'pi vidhinā cānye pare kā kathā||

halāyudha dharmaviveke

He was born in the clan of the Surya or Sun itself. He is the son of Dasaratha the foremost among emperors. His beloved wife was the ever truthful and devoted Sita. His younger brother was none other than Lakshmana. In valour and dexterity with arms in this world is without comparison in the world. He is verily Lord Vishnu Himself manifest as human being. Even such a person by Rama was subjected to slightings and was sent to forest through the quirkly machinations of fate. . If sucha a thing can happen to such a great person what about other ordinary mortals ?
