Every social sect is thriving of certain values and standards of moral, often unique to the group.. And our evaluation of right and wrong depends on that heavily...Take the example for me of this moment.. It is past six in the evening and it is time for Sandhyavandanam.. I am uneasy before the keyboard.. I will rust for a wash, wearing of Vibhoothi and sandhyavandanam in a few minutes, or at least as early as possible.. I know that I am not going to die if I do not perform Sandhya today.. and in the experience gathered over fifty years afer starting to wear poonal, I have come to know that those who do sandhya and those who do not do both live almost identically neither group having any benefits.. Still I will feel very sad and guilty if I break Sandhya one day.. It is a habit.. But I cannot call it a rule.. But somehow my mind is indoctrinated.. This is the case with most of our beliefs..
