It is not possible to seek and find comfort eternally

It is not possible to seek and find comfort eternally.

However, we can find peace, if not happiness if we restrict our wants just to suit our known capacity.

We must choose to live life to the best of our abilities, accommodating life as it comes.

To seek anything from others, be it love, help, approval or praise is natural but expecting only positive results for such longing is not practical or realistic.

The good God has created this world with a scheme of life encompassing innumerable living and non-living things and usually as life goes on, we play the game of meddling with the priorities and preferences of one living thing against the interests of all other beings.

The stakeholders who are at the receiving end of such interference may tolerate that to a certain extent but we cannot expect that they would love or even like such messy meddling. Eternal love and blackest hatred are both extreme concepts that exist only on very rare occasions. Normally we proceed with our lives occupying a terrain somewhere in between these two extremities

Without confidence in ourselves and faith in others we cannot survive or even exist

Nevertheless, considering the odds against which we have to live, too much of self-confidence would appear foolhardy. So also excessive credulity. It is all a game of check and balances.

The person, who can accommodate, can survive. However, accommodation should not become compromise or servility.

This is only a loud thinking, merely a reminder to myself.
