समुन्नताऽपि गृध्रस्य दृष्टिर्दुर्मांसदर्शिनी।
समुन्नतोऽपि दुर्मेधा हेयकार्यैक चिन्तकः॥
नित्यनीतिः २६०
samunnatā'pi gṛdhrasya dṛṣṭirdurmāṃsadarśinī।
samunnato'pi durmedhā heyakāryaika cintakaḥ॥

Even as the vulture flies around so high in the skies, its sharp eyes would be in search of and would be seeing only the rotten stinking flesh of animals lying down on the earth. Similarly, a man of evil mind and thoughts would be able to think of only bad and rotten things happening all around.
