Anything we say or write is useful only if others, at least some people

 

One tends to use textbook language with slightly uncommon vocabulary when one uses a language, which is not his mother tongue.

Of course, conversational language is best for exchange of ideas,no doubt.

Still we can get on with reasonable good level of communications even with bookish language if the output is straightforward and is more or less according to accepted rules of grammar and syntax

However, it is punishment; it is murder, and agony to the reader, when people use enigmatic usages and innuendos, especially in languages which are not their mother tongues..

The dudes and dandies think they are showing class and superiority by using jargons and usages completely out of context.

Anything we say or write is useful only if others, at least some people. Could understand what we say.

First and last, this is the fundamental law of effective communication.

I can only pity people sitting in soapboxes and churning out abracadabra, just to show off.

I wonder whether they can really understand what they are trying to tell.
