आरोग्यं दृढगात्रत्वं आनृण्यं अघमोचनम्।

अपारवश्यं निश्चिन्त्यं आस्तिक्यं स्वर्ग एव च॥

equales a mans life to that of enjoyment in heaven if he is endowed with the following benefits

The life on earth is heavenly if we have

Robust health

Strong and firm physique

Capacity to tell truth alone and the facility to live with such honesty.

Freedom from Sins

Existence without dependence on others (even for necessities)

Freedom from undue worry and tension

and finally

Belief in God the Supreme Being

Of course, the modern mind and many of the free thinker would disagree on the point of faith in God.

Let that be so.

If a person is honest and sincerely and wishes well for all, then even without faith he is great. Actually, God resides forcefully in such a person

Health and strong physique, though they thrive on individual body nature, can be ensured only if the environment and living conditions around are proper and amenable to good life

It is easy to claim that we can tell the truth, but the society is corrupt all around and truth is a more potent killer than any weapon or venom. Therefore, the existence of permission to tell the truth even if it is distasteful is the hallmark of a nice society.

Freedom from sins- This calls for realization of what is sin. The greatest sin appears to be one that causes death, damage, loss or grief to fellow human beings and fellow living beings around us.

Dependency on others.-this can happen because of poverty, health, age- And often, blind love too can create such dependency. We can try to reduce such dependency, but without some people to depend on and in turn to depend on us, life will be insipid. Nevertheless, dependency is bad when it borders on exploitation or blackmailing.

Of course, if we have health, strength, resources, free mind, and independence, then most of our worries and tensions would be not there. That is so for normal human beings.

Of course, for people who just use their mind and brain only to invent causes for tension, strife and worry, even a life in heaven is not materially different from life in hell.

The expectations are sky high.. We may not have all and whatever we have may not be perfect..

However, journey towards the ideals listed above can surely bring heaven and earth closer
