Dhanvantari Stotram

Dhanvantari is Bhagavan Narayana Himself- manifesting as the most potent chemist and pharmacist and perhaps the great physician too.
The stotram praising that great doctor who is God is as follows.
शङ्खं चक्रं जलौकां दधदमृतघटं चारुदोर्भिश्चतुर्भिः
सूक्ष्मस्वच्छातिहृद्यांशुक परिविलसन्मौलिमंभोजनेत्रम्।
कालांभोदोज्वलाङ्गं कटितटविलसच्चारुपीतांबराढ्यं
वन्दे धन्वन्तरिं तं निखिलगदवनप्रौढदावग्निलीलम्॥
śaṅkhaṁ cakraṁ jalaukāṁ dadhadamṛtaghaṭaṁ cārudorbhiścaturbhiḥ
sūkṣmasvacchātihṛdyāṁśuka parivilasanmaulimaṁbhojanetram|
kālāṁbhodojvalāṅgaṁ kaṭitaṭavilasaccārupītāṁbarāḍhyaṁ
vande dhanvantariṁ taṁ nikhilagadavanaprauḍhadāvagnilīlam||

My humble pranams to that Supreme Lord Dhanvantari
Who holds the conch Panchajanya, the discus Sudarshana, a leech and a pot filled with life giving elixir- amrita respectively in his four strong and attractive arms
Whose head is covered by the aura of deep brilliant white light that is sharp, spontaneous and is emanating from the pure heart of the Lord
Who is having a pair of eyes resembling lotuses
Whose body and limbs shines forth in the dark colour of fresh dark water laden clouds
Who looks elegant with his loins covered be brightly attractive yellow clothes
That Lord Dhanvantari who acts like an intense wildfire and destroys as if in a sport the entire forest or wild growth of diseases and Maladies that are tormenting us.
