सव्ये शक्तिं दधानः सरसिजसदृशे वामहस्ते अक्षमालां
कृत्वा वामं कराब्जं लळितकटितटे सव्यहस्ते अब्जपुष्पं।
क्रूरं शूरं निहत्य त्रिनयनमनिशं पूजयन् सिन्धुतीरे
तिष्ठन् इष्टार्त्थदायी ग्रथितपृथुजटः पातु मां श्रीगुहाख्यः॥
savye śaktiṁ dadhānaḥ sarasijasadṛśe vāmahaste akṣamālāṁ
kṛtvā vāmaṁ karābjaṁ laḻitakaṭitaṭe savyahaste abjapuṣpaṁ|
krūraṁ śūraṁ nihatya trinayanamaniśaṁ pūjayan sindhutīre
tiṣṭhan iṣṭārtthadāyī grathitapṛthujaṭaḥ pātu māṁ śrīguhākhyaḥ||
May that Divine Grace which is called Guha ( Subrahmanya.. Muruga)
who is granting whatever the devotee of His desires,
Who wields the powerful spear on one of his right hands and
who wears a garland of (rudraksha) beads on the left hand which resembles a lotus,
Who has placed one left hand on His own delicate and attractive hip
and Who holds as freshly plucked lotus in the other right hand,
Who stands in the shore of roaring sea of the south after annihilating the cruel demon Soora and the whole clan of demons
and who is presently offering pooja to the three-eyed and eternal Lord Shiva...
May that Divine Grace protect Me
